Stephens Family YMCA

Really nice weights and full sets of them. I really liked that in weight room there are two areas set up for the free dumbell/kettlebell weights/body weight exercises. Even had tape squares marked out to help w space. Aerobic exercise machines were really nice. Looks to have many classes (2 room in use, plus a large pool area). I was an out of town visitor, and used facilities for $10/day, and need drivers license/id for entry.

We’ve been members here for many years, and it truly feels like family. Their fitness classes are awesome, and we love all of the instructors. They create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere for members of all levels.

The facility was wild, I havent gone to a gym in years, no idea they put that much effort into them these days. Im use to free weights and cardio machines only. Staff was super nice and seemed sincere. They can get busy so reaching someone by phone might take a few tries but otherwise no notes.

The price could be better for what you get. They have many activities but some activities aren’t included in the membership for example like rock climbing, it’s extra. In order to use the 24 hr gym membership you have to pay extra. It also seems like the whole building needs to be updated and the gym itself is kinda small.

Very nice newer YMCA with several cariovascular options. Good amount of weight lifting options as well. Wonderful aquatics center with several swim lanes. Also has a 30' indoor climbing wall and a dry sauna. Wonderful locker room, yet showers tend to run cold. You push a button to activate the water then it goes on forever. Two very nice studios and a bike studio as well. Great place and well worth the visit.
